Often called one of the premier events each year for corporate giving professionals, the 2008 CECP Corporate Philanthropy Summit convened leaders in the field from the world's largest companies, allowing participants an open forum to discuss the important trends, success stories, and giving priorities affecting corporate philanthropy.

At the Summit on June 3-4, 2008 in New York City, CECP revealed the first look at giving data and trends for 2007, based on the findings from the CECP Corporate Giving Standard benchmarking study. Read the press release.

Throughout the two days, discussions were led by CEOs, senior giving practitioners, as well as representatives from government agencies, academic institutions, consulting firms, media, and nonprofit organizations on relevant issues in corporate philanthropy.

Plus, CECP was proud to present a last minute addition to the agenda, President Clinton,
who spoke about the urgent and essential opportunity for companies to creatively partner with governments and NGOs to address some of the world's largest social and environmental issues.
